Customer Insights Journeys > Journeys section of the app > Add new step to create an Email (schema is email) record under "Activities" section. This functionality will serve to create an email activity in constituent record as part of the Journey this is beneficial for organizations using Dynamics Sales or Fundraising applications that desire to see the activity in timeline without needing access to CIJ.

The 'create an email' activity mentioned here is the native email activity type record (schema is email). In the customer journey, when you go to Add an Action form, we would like to see a new option under 'Activities' next to the Phone call and Task activities as they are creating native Dataverse activity records. When the user chooses to create the native email activity record (i.e. this new idea), allow users to create the email activity as closed.

Please provide more detail as to the behavior you are expecting when you say 'create an email' in the journey. I'm not fully understanding the scenario.
