The new feature was released to allow for partial location cycle counting in warehouse management. We wanted to use this feature to indicate a group of products via category hierarchy for counting. 

The issue here is that the table join added "Product category assignment | Products | Category" is not currently supported. The graphical interface allows you to add the join, but there isn't supporting code on the backend that actually connects them. This is the case with a lot of "edit query" joins where they still need to be developed.
