If there is one place where Deferrals are much needed, then it is the Service Management Module.

Once again, MS releases a stunnign new functionality into the core Trade related product's Functionality and neglect to enhance their Premium product range. The Service Manangement Module get their least attention.

The Service Contract Lines require the same enhancement to be able to post Deferrals.

Service Contracts has the ability to select the Invoice Period or also known as Billing Frequency with options as:

Monthly, Bi-Montly, Quarterly, Half Year, Annually.

Therefore, these SLA income needs to be amortisized / scheduled to post into the GL Accounting proper accounting practice and standards, yet once again, the Service Manangement Module is badly neglected, but they are not ashamed to sell it as one of there their 2 Premium Modules. Why MS?

If you plan an enhancement, plan it for the entire ERP solution, not only for the cheap 60%, but do it 100% for the entire ERP solution?
