The default report definitions in financial reports are getting populated automatically after every package deployment.
Currently there is no way to pause this behavior. Users need to delete the auto generated default report definitions every time after package deployment.
It would be really helpful if we can have a feature to avoid this behavior.

Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
