It can be difficult for system admins (consultants & partners) to test user access and issues when we cannot see the same access as the end user. If we change our roles to match another user then we are not able to quickly go back to our system admin role without getting assistance from another admin to update our roles. When testing multiple scenarios and changes this means being locked out and requesting assistance multiple times. An example, the user is not able to maintain a workflow. In order to replicate the issue we will need to change our user role to match the user and confirm the scenario. Now we cannot change our roles back because we no longer have system admin role associated with our user.

It would be helpful to be able to "log in as" the roles of that user for testing and reproducing the issues but then end the log-in to recover our correct roles. I have seen this feature in other systems and it was very useful. You would highlight the user and then select a Log in As feature. This would give you the same views and roles of said user...but if you posted a transaction or an audit trail was created it would still be with your user id. When your testing or reproductions were completed you could then disengage the Log in As and be given the full system admin rights that are assigned to your role.
