In standard inventory scenarios, inventory dimensions are synchronized between receipt and issue transactions when orders are marked or reserved like a purchase order that was marking on a transfer order is modified or received.

However, for WMS‑enabled items, only dimensions above the location level are synchronized so that warehouse work can be created, and dimensions below the location level (such as batch) are not transferred.

if an item uses batch numbers, and the Batch number dimension is below the location level in the reservation hierarchy, the batch number isn't synchronized from receipt to issue transactions.

We suggest adding an option to allow WMS‑enabled items to follow the standard synchronization behavior, as this would improve consistency and reduce functional gaps for customers.
