At this moment, a table is either public or internal for both reading and writing data.
For reporting purposes, it would be beneficial to be able to expose the table to other apps for reading while encapsulating write access to internal objects. This allows for the development op e.g. PTE's with reporting that can access the tables of an app for just reporting, but cannot modify data in that table.
