To simplify calculations and improve accuracy, we propose automating metric prefix conversions within the Microsoft Sustainability Manager. With this enhancement, the system will intelligently recognize and handle inputs or outputs in different metric prefixes, eliminating the need for users to manually perform conversions.

For instance, if a conversion factor for Joules (J) is available, and an input or output involves Megajoules (MJ), the system will automatically adjust the value for seamless and precise calculations. Whether it's millimeters (mm) to meters (m), kilograms (kg) to metric tons (MT), or any other metric prefix conversion, our platform will accommodate the variations to deliver consistent and reliable results.

By automating metric prefix conversions, we aim to:
