Planning functionality should consider component availability dates. If one attempts to create a production order for some due date, the planning engine should evaluate component availability dates (i.e. purchase order due dates), and recommend a new due date for the production order if there is a component availability conflict.

Ideally, the planning worksheet would recommend a new due date for the production order based on the component "outlier". Currently, messages are generate to expedite the purchase order to meet the production order due date, and this expediting action is often not possible due to vendor leadtimes.
