The credit limit is checked again if there are no grace days setup. The credit check is always on the total order, there are no partial quantities being checked as we don't have line item credit checks, it is always the full amount.

This idea is based on the following scenarios :We have experienced the following:

  • After releasing an order from the hold list, because this order was placed due to the credit management functionality and post the packingslip afterwards the opackingslip was cancelled. The inventory transactions are corrected via a purchased and a sold inventory transaction to have the starting point again. When starting the process again, our normal expectations are that the order will be judges again if the credit management functionality will handle this order again, as if this is a new order to be judged. This is unfortunately not happening. Investigations of our lead developer lead to the conclusion that, although based on the technical code, reviewed by him, the intention was made to have this happening. However due to an erroneous routine in the code, the credit management check is suppressed and thus is the reposting of the packingslip not sent to credit management.

  • In case of partial quantity posting a packingslip, the amount of the first posted packingslip is incorrectly used in the credit management check when determining if the 2nd part of the packingslip posting needs to be handled by the credit management check functionality. In this case, the effective posted amount is taken as a negative amount instead of a positive amount. This cause an incorrect calculation of the amount to be posted for the 2nd packingslip, which leads to again to a bypass of the credit limit amount to be checked.

All above is placed as a further in depth clarification of this issue, to gain some more understanding of the real issue.
