Since 18 months we created 20 payment methods but currently there are 5 of them is not required and not acceptable by company, unfortunately keep the complete 20 payment methods giving cashiers chance to select some of these not acceptable payment methods. It will be great idea having the possibility to hide or disable (Because we can not delete it) some payment methods, so it will not appear for cashiers in the payment methods list.

Dear Microsoft team, Could you please clarify why this function is still not available or planned for future releases? This is a basic standard feature to disable or hide a retired payment method, which is typically available by default in other POS software. As highlighted in the Microsoft ticket, the absence of this feature is causing problems and errors in our retail operations.

I am assuming this is related to conclude transaction operation. If yes then an ability to have the display list sorted (by alphabetical order or weight) could also be a good function. Great suggestion btw as this is common requests in our projects.

This feature has been released with 10.0.49 version. With this release, businesses can create various payment profiles which contain a list of payment methods along with their display order. This payment profile can be associated to the register. Only those payment methods are shown on POS which are associated with the payment profile and which are mapped to the store. So, if a previously used payment method needs to be hidden, then the admin can remove that from the payment profile and hence it will be hidden from the POS.
