My name is Wandee (wandee@innovizsolutions.com) and I am MS the largest MSD365 F&O partner in Thailand. So hear me out.
After implement MSD365 (previously AX) for the past 15 years, the worst thing about this product is the product's Standard report. For you information, for the past 6 months, we have been losing to Netsuite because
1. Standard report in MSD365 F&O is worse than Netsuite
2. The report capability in MSD365 is more difficult than of Netsuite
3. Embedded Power BI is not as easy as BI in Netsuite.
So no matter how good MSD365's functionality or technology or scalability or flexibility, I will keep losing to Netsuite because taking out the data is difficult, the tool is not as easy as MS advertise, and there are indirect cost like BYOD, Visual studio, etc to be able to develop reports.
So, if MS would like to really be number 1 for Cloud ERP, I really suggest you get back very basic requirement of all users in this world: BE ABLE TO CREATE REPORT/ANALYTIC REPORT WITHOUT IT GUYS AND INDIRECT COST.
