Current Situation:

From the published document current import functionality in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations is limited, as MPP files can only be used to create new projects and cannot be applied to or update existing schedules, while Excel/CSV uploads do not support full schedule creation.

Business Impact:

As a result, project schedules require significant manual configuration, increasing setup time and the risk of inconsistency, particularly for structured approaches like VDM.
