Enable users to freeze (lock) one or more columns in Project Operations grid forms—such as in Tasks, Estimates, Resource Assignments, Actuals, Journals, Billing, and Schedule views—so key identifying fields remain visible while horizontally scrolling through large datasets.

This feature would function similarly to Freeze Panes in Excel or Freeze Columns in other Dynamics 365 grids, improving usability for project managers, accountants, schedulers, and project administrators working with wide, multi-column tables.

Business Value:

Users often scroll through 20–40+ columns to review, compare, or update data. Without frozen columns, it becomes easy to lose track of key fields like Task ID, Resource Name, or Date, increasing the risk of entering or reviewing data in the wrong row.

Freezing columns provides consistent row context, reducing mistakes and rework.
