We can configure security filters on the posted and non-posted sales and purchase documents to restrict users to have access to specific data. However, same configuration does not work for new pages such sales lines, purchase lines, posted sales invoice lines, posted purchase invoice lines, posted sales shipment lines. When we configure a security filter on the lines table, we end up with an error for security filter being applied at header. I have reached out to Microsoft Support, and they have suggested to raise this issue as an idea. Please vote for this idea to make the use of security filters consistent across all pages.

"I have internally discussed with our product team. I am so regretful to inform you that the issue might be cause by the design logic of our Business Central Security Filter. Currently, security filter is not supported for the table in this question. We have recorded this issue and product team will take this into their backlog. But this will be a huge task, owing to the complexity of this issue.
