We use queries to great extent in Dynamics NAV. We access query results with OData using Excel and it allows us to do very power analytics with native NAV data, but also allows us to bridge NAV data with information from other data sources to do even more power things. It would really be something to be able to easily convert a query to a page which could then be customized. Right now, most of our queries are presented to Excel in OData format, with links back into the NAV application, to get to the records at hand. If this were instead presented to a page that could have saved views and action buttons, we could stay in the native application. I understand this is possible through custom code, but it would be great if those of us who manage the application in-house without a developer's license, could make this happen.

Thank you for your suggestion.

We will consider this functionality for a future release. Best regards. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

This is a must have and would avoid lot's of custom coding with temp tables.
It would be nice though to have 'updatable' queries as well.
