In the mobile device menu item > Cycle counting menu, there is a setting called 'Display item number'. This is currently a required setup for system directed cycle counting. When this setting is enabled, it requires the user to count a specific item - the one that is displayed to the user.

This does not work for customers that have bins/locations full of mixed items. These customers need to have their warehouse workers sent to system directed locations, and they need the ability to count the items in the location in any order.

When 'Display item number' is set to NO in the Cycle counting menu, the user generates a 'No work available' message.

Expectation/Idea: Setting 'Display item number' to No would theoretically prompt the user to enter/scan and count any item, and in any order.

Would not let me vote on another screen. I vote No as some of the item descriptions are very similar in the system and if we have staff who are not as experienced in some areas this may be very confusing to them. I also agree with David's comment of not running all over for one product at a time

Having to not travel from one end of our property, to another, only to return to the same position we had just come from would be incredibly beneficial as currently the greatest interference with our productivity and efficiency is counting in numerical order.
