Email as Logged in User

Emails for notifications etc are done through SMTP as the user on the SMTP setup card. This means adding permissions to users mailboxes to allow the user on the SMTP setup card to send as the other users.

It would be great if this could be integrated more fully with O365 so the connection didn't need to be made over SMTP as a single user, but could use the logged in users credentials.

I agree with David and Russell, this is the basic feature being a Microsoft product this feature should have been added long back. This feature should be tied to interactions and available on all Master data (contacts, customers, Vendors and Employees etc)

Ironically this is executed better by the team at Boyum in support SAP B1. They allow you to send email as the current user - which requires them to do all sorts of credential storage and complexity. Given SaaS BC, this should be a very easy procedure.
