In Business Central SaaS, partners take care of adjusting extensions for future versions and upgrading them alongside with the upgrade of the environment.

There are two ways to execute the process of upgrade - uninstall extensions and adjust them for next version - upgrade the BC environment and install the new version of the extension.

It is a standard practice to deploy and publish a version of the extension compatible with the next major version before the actual upgrade of the environment.

This way the upgrade of the environment can take care of the extension.

At the moment there is no easy way to check for extensions scheduled ahead of time for the next major.
