1. When doing a Point in time restore from Prod to Sandbox (PITR), config is dropped on purpose, by MS from the lower environments. Locations such as;
*Batch jobs
*Batch Groups
*AR - form setup - print management
*Email parameters SMTP settings
*Email parameters Smart send
I would like to see in LCS, the option to obtain the config from PROD, perhaps as a check box beside each area. So that we may bring these items if we want, over to sandbox from PROD.
2. Also, alongside this data being stripped, the following does not, but often changes need to be made after PITR. Changes such as user names, passwords etc for testing to take place. These include;
*Electronic reporting destination
*Azure active directory applications
For these, perhaps there could be a UAT login/userID, saved in LCS that replaces the PROD logins during the PITR.
