Right now custom fields are only Registration Custom Fields. You should be able to make custom fields either apply to the Registration or the Attendee Pass. A registration may support 3 attendees and we want to know the dietary requirements of all of them but right now all we can try and do is ask the person registering what their dietary requirements (no guarantee they are an attendee!)
