It would be good to have a channel like this one - or simply a category in this channel that could be used for bug reporting.

I don't think a user should have to go via a partner or formal logging process to log a bug. Often times it doesn't need interaction with a MS expert, it just needs to be notified and acknowledged.

With the roll-out of minor updates so frequent and with sites having no control over the update happening, this is essential. I have two bugs to log that for a number of reasons I cannot log in any formal manner. These were picked up after the last release 4 weeks ago and have not been resolved in the release overnight.

In desperation, I am going to log them in this forum and hope they get noticed here.

Different (support) channels are used to report product issues as they entail fixing the issue, downgrading it and deploying it fast (depending of severity) to tenants that are affected which is very different from releasing a new product feature.
