The issue is the following:

When you track an email regarding a case either in OWA or Outlook using Dynamics app for Outlook the case name is hyperlinked meaning that the case cannot be open directly in Dynamics CRM from the app when click on the name.

The following have been tested on version 8.2.2. and it is working as expected however on version 9.0.xx it is a different behavior.

Repro steps:

Open an email in either Outlook or OWA
Click Dynamics CRM app for Outlook shortcut
Track an email regarding a case
you will see a message that the email is tracked regarding a case and the name of the case which will be hyperlinked (on version 8.2 - see attached screen shot 8.2)
When you click on the name of the case, since it is a hyperlink it will redirect you to that case inside Dynamics CRM online organization.

HOWEVER

On version 9.0 and above this is not working the same way:
Open an email in either Outlook or OWA
Click Dynamics CRM app for Outlook shortcut
Track an email regarding a case
Here the email is visible that it is tracked regarding a case and the case name, but the name is not hyperlinked.
If you click on the case name it will open additional option but inside dynamics App and not opening the case in the browser directly from CRM org as in the previous version.

Is it possible to implement the above option to open again all the information to a set regards case from the web browser as well
