Some companies may operate different business groups within a single Dynamics instance. Different groups within a company may observe different business closures, such as some holidays may be observed in one country, but not another. Since a Resource's work hours can be affected by business closures, it would be better if business closures could be associated to an organizational unit, so that a business closure did not have to be universal to the instance. Or if a business closure could have a 1:N relationship with organizational units, then that could reduce the number of business closure records an admin would need to maintain.

Hi all,Any news about this feature ?

Yes in our company we have SAP P24 as the system holding all country calendars and each employee is connected to a public holiday calendar. We have had to customise in the Dynamics system how to hold all this interface information from P24 and connect it to the employee calendar.

To add to Dean's idea:
(1) Can we visualize public holiday other than just gray unavailability? E.g. using a hatch pattern?
(2) More important, linking public holidays to the OU might not work in all cases. In Germany, holidays are different by federal state. The OU might be located in state A, the resource lives in state B. For the resource the home location matters, i.e. public holidays in state B. Thus you might see different holidays for different technicians on the same board, even if they belong to the same OU.
(3) Every administrator would enjoy the ability to import public holidays (similar to Outlook).

Thank you for your feedback.
This is a great suggestion! We will consider this in our roadmap.
