We have a further requirement.Currently only contacts that have an e-Mail address can be synched. It would be much better, if any personal contact could be synced,Some people use Exchange Contacts on their mobile devices for calling them.I checked the graph API and was able to create a contact without mail address there without any problem.https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/user-post-contacts?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=httpWe would simple need to store the Microsoft Graph API in BC to map this contact to a BC Contact. This should be possible with a simple 1-n table for Contacts to Outlook Contacts.
Hy,In my case, performing a data and app upgrade from 21.13 to 22.8, when I publish and installl the system app, there is an error "The database xxxx has version 1400 wich is not supported by this version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Server" occurs.I have solved the problem by adding the sync-navtenant command before step 7 upgrade appsBest regards,
At this point, Microsoft is treating this issue far too flippantly despite the clear and justified calls for help on this issue by large numbers of End Users and Consultants alike. I cannot understand how they continue to ignore this crucial limitation of the GP platform with what is beginning to read like flat out callousness. Microsoft, please change this field limitation now. Large numbers of customers are represented by these comments here, as only a small percentage of people will take time to write a message, despite masses who feel the same, but take no action to make their voice heard and simply click on, in exasperation.
I would like to add that this also extends to the tiles. If the tile was created using the standard view, which is what most defaulted to after Microsoft decided to enable custom views, this threw a wrench in all our end users day to day checks. All of the tiles needed to be recreated using the custom views in order to make any future changes to the columns (additions, sorting, etc). It would be nice to have the ability to select which view the tiles should use instead of the one that was used when originally created.
