I think this feature is desperately seek in all customers leveraging the Inspections feature. It feels like a half baked cookie as most use Inspections for collecting info as a part of different government compliances such as tech Safety checks etc..
Inability to produce the report in the desired format makes it of no use to them and hence leading for partners to build functionalities via customisations going against best practises.
I strongly believe there is a dire need for this as each and every of our customers that I have worked with so far have asked for it.
We need to run this report before running "Settle and post sales tax" and "Electronic messages".
Very much needed, this is our major roadblock to upgrade from Dynamics GP to Business Central.
REMARK: Including credit line types.
The previous comment from a Microsoft Employee says this feature has been delivered, but I cannot create Account segments, and don't see Accounts mentioned in the documentation. This is still needed.
I hope this is coming soon. We cannot use this feature as-is, but it would be a huge hit if we could use different processes.
It's now 2022 and clients are still asking for this. Some of our clients are burning check numbers and running out of checks because of this. They need to order more checks just to accommodate this function which of course is an added cost to our clients. With 75 votes (at the time I'm writing this) and it's been "under review", can't we get this actually scheduled on the roadmap so we have a better answer to our clients?
This would be great! Our old accounting system did this so we could print onto blank paper stock and we didn't; have to spend so much time dealing with alignment issues.
We have submitted a ticket for this (2112210040005477) and while it's nice that it's in the telemetry, users need to be told when a Job Queue stops to know when to restart it. Users will not be sitting there watching the telemetry and then go and restart the queues. They need a notification in order to action the next steps. Even if it's just emailing users that would be a great help.
