Microsoft Dynamics 365
While this is great for users of the system, it's not helpful for partners. There was talk two years ago to change the delegated admin partner/client request to allow business central access without providing global admin. This still has not been delivered. For so many reasons the current situation is not ideal, it even violates Microsofts own best practices for security. The issues this causes when talking to clients and addressing security related concerns is time consuming and a bottle neck to onboarding. Are there still plans to have an invite option to only get access to Business Central and more importantly the admin center??
Unfortunately once these submissions are made they are unable to be edited, but obviously "prevents" was meant to be "presents" in the third paragraph.
With the volume of email our users produce on a daily basis through D365, having to manually change the default settings to a more appropriate font size adds unnecessary administrative overhead.
If Microsoft is unable to provide a configuration setting in the short term, how about simply increasing the Segoe font 9 to at least a font 12 for ease of readability to start? The current default is far too small.
It would be great also that the requisition worsheet suggest the best vendor price to order. It is only suggest the preferred vendor prices on item card not the best vendor.
Or, if we can add a parameter setup to use a default prepayment category.
The Change due dialog can now been hidden (if no change is due) based on a parameter in the Functionality profile.
Agree with this that the fields must be editable.
Any news about this limitation?
Thanks in advance
This is no brainer.
Also to consider. Majority of the businesses (80%) are micro or small businesses and despite smaller revenue per company for MS it would make it up by overall sales due bigger volume. So for MS it would generate revenue fast due small companies can make fast decisions and today every company need e-commerce site to survive.
Business Central needs E-commerce integration fast, as well better UI for CRM and Service. Likes of Odoo are beating MS in their game for now. CRM, E-Commerce etc. are there out of the box.
This is one of the biggest Gaps in the Migration story to D365. Partners need to create data entities to migrate Lean master data
