  • Allow depreciation to be calculated on negative assets

When a negative fixed asset is acquired, you must set "allow negative net book value" on the fixed asset. However, when a negative fixed asset is depreciated Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations cannot calculate a depreciation proposal. The periodic depreciation therefore must be calculated and posted manually via a journal. This is time consuming when it could just be calculated in the proposal. Please allow negative assets to be included for depreciation in the depreciation proposal.

  • Default Financial Dimension on employee Worker Record

We have an issue in that the Default Financial Dimension on an Employee / Contractor record for a company entity in HR populates to all modules, such as Purchase Requisitions, Expenses.

The business requires the Default Financial Dimensions to be module specific, so that they populate for say Expenses, but do not for Purchase Requisitions (as the user inputting the Purchase Requisition may have to choose from many Financial Dimension).

Can a check box be introduced so that you can select the sub-ledger module you would like to populate the Financial Dimensions in?

  • Linking Outlook Out Of Office with a Trigger to populate delegation in Dynamics 365 SCM

Nearly all users fill in an out of office on Outlook when they go on vacation.

Can a trigger be implemented that we can switch on so that users have to populate delegation in Dynamics 365 SCM when they do?

Users nearly always forget the Dynamics side of things and System Admins spend many hours adding delegation to users that have already gone on vacation, or transferring approvals for Timesheets, Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions etc after they have left.

This would be really useful - I can't see one in Power Automate

  • Creating a Journal Name for Budgeting for a Custom Layer

We would like to be able to create separate budgets on our custom layer that we use for IFRS16 postings

However, the Budget Journal Type on the dropdown greys out the Posting Layer to "Current" and you cannot amend it.

Is this something that could be considered and treated the same way as a General Journal Type?

  • Split a Positional Reporting Line based on the Financial Dimensions of the Requisition / PO / Ex

We have Senior managers that look after multiple Brands that have multiple reporting Lines

Currently the reports to position in the Organisational Hierarchy has no logic available in it to split the next level up based on what the Financial Dimensions are of the PR / PO / Invoice/ Time sheet / Expense Claim

What we would need is an IF Statement to direct the next level up correctly, as currently all approvals are going to one brand hierarchy as you cannot split it
