  • Implementing Quality Orders for Enhanced FAI Process

To maintain the highest quality standards for new parts First Article Inspection (FAI) is conducted on the initial production order. Currently, this is managed manually by the Product Responsible or Planner.

However, this manual approach is susceptible to errors. To address these issues, we propose the use of the Quality Order function within the system to automate and streamline the FAI process.

    Acceptance Criteria to be considered:

    1. Enable the setup of part number and customer number combinations specifically for generating quality orders related to FAI.

    2. Automatically generate a quality order for the first production order corresponding to the specified part number and customer number combination.

    3. Ensure the quality order is clearly visible on the Job card.

    4. Implement a system block that prevents the shipment of parts until the quality order is successfully completed and passed.

This aims to reduce manual intervention and errors, and guarantee that quality checks are systematically carried out before shipping the parts.

  • Single Work Creation for Production with Multiple Batches on a Single License Plate in Cross Docking

When registering a production order for a single ItemID that includes multiple InventBatchIDs on one License Plate, the system creates multiple cross docking works. This causes inefficiencies, especially when there is one work template for cross docking with four steps (pick/put, pick/put). The current functionality does not accommodate processing with one License Plate created in production posting, leading to a fragmented workflow and operational challenges.

We propose an enhancement to allow the creation of a single work that accommodates multiple batches on one License Plate this can be by either a parameter or a setup on work templates to control whether work headers should be merged or split.

  • When items are receiving to warehouse within crossdocking, system requires entering a new Target LP.

During crossdocking, the system requires entering a new LP number when receiving items, causing discrepancies between the original LP on the label and the new LP in the system. This prevents items from being picked using the LP on the label.

    Current system behavior:

    - System deducts quantities from multiple TOs improperly, leading to LP discrepancies and affects so many users.

    - Requires new Target LP during receiving, causing inconsistencies.

    Expected Result:

    - Received quantities should be deducted from the current supply order being received.

    - Warehouse App should not require a new Target LP; items should retain the original LP.

    Proposed Solution:

    - Adjust system logic to ensure correct quantity deduction from the current TO. And ensure Warehouse App retains original LP during receiving.
