Variable Positions for Cluster Picking & System generated cluster picking
To improve the picking process in the warehouse we use the cluster picking functionality. By using this functionality we have to define a cluster profile "Trolley" with the number of positions that can be used; for example 64. Problem: If we have only 63 open work lines, there is no possibility to start the picking process. "Not enough work can be found" Improvement Idea: There needs to be a possibility to start with the picking process anyway. For eg. it shows on the menu that out of 64 positions 63 can be picked. Field Name: Force Start Picking --> This would let me start picking even if not all the positions have been assigned. This is a crucial element because if we have a high priority shipment or at the end of the day, we cannot wait until we have enough work that can be picked. -
Close Putaway clusters with Mobile Device
Problem Identification: The current process in the Incoming Goods Department requires staff to access a computer to close the 'putaway' cluster, which is cumbersome and inefficient.
Proposed Solution: Develop a function to close the cluster in the mobile device menu, after you have added the last item.

Option to Lock Settings Menu in Warehouse Management App
Users can currently change local settings like font size and button scale in the WHS App at any time. Some set the font size to 400%, making the app unusable, then run to IT or key users for help. This causes unnecessary support overhead and breaks UI consistency.
Request:
Add a system setting to lock or disable the local Settings menu in the app per user or device. This would enforce centrally defined settings from the “Mobile Device User Settings” in D365.
Impact:
- Less support burden
- Standardized UI across devices
- Fewer user-induced issues
