  • Purchase Accruals for G/L accounts

    The Customer has a requirement for purchases to be accrued and posted to the general ledger once a purchase line is received and not invoiced. The accrual is then reversed when the line is invoiced. They do not use items/inventory as all purchases are expensed to a General Ledger account. In the current design, expected costs can be posted only for Items.
  • Bank Account Reconciliation Report

    The Bank Account Reconciliation Report which is available in the AU (known as Reconciliation), NA (known as Bank Account - Reconcile) versions of D365 BC on both SaaS and On-Prem. The Report is not available in W1 version of the product. Customers from APAC region where Business Central SaaS is build on W1 version require the report and wants the same to be included.
  • Word Layout for Purchase Quote report

    A Customer would like have the Purchase Quote Report available in Word format. This would help them in customize the report as per their requirements. This is not available in the current design.
  • Update Qty. to Invoice as Qty. Shipped/Received in Sales & Purchase Orders for Drop Shipment orders

    In the current design for partial shipment/receipt the Qty. to Invoice field is updated as Qty. to Receive/Ship + Qty. Received/Shipped. For Drop Shipment Orders in case of partial shipment/receipt, the User has to manually update the Qty. to Invoice field in both SO and PO to partially invoice the Drop Shipment Order. If the Qty. to Invoice field is updated as per the Qty. Shipped for both PO and SO it will help in reducing the steps for the Users and avoid any error.
  • Deferral Code and Deferral Schedule in Job G/L Journal

    The Deferral Code field should be available to add the Job G/L Journal line. Also the Deferral Schedule option should be available under Actions > Functions, These are available in General Journal lines.
  • Advanced Filters feature is not available in the Matrix view page

    In the current design of D365 BC (Web client), the ability to apply Advanced Filters are not available in the Matrix View page. In Windows client the feature is available
  • Payment Tolerance should consider the Total Amount

    Consider the below scenario: 1. General Ledger setup - Max. Payment Tolerance = 0.50 2. Post a Sales Invoice of Amount Incl. VAT = 507.50. 3. Create a Cash Receipt Journal: a. Line 1 - Document Type = Payment; Account Type = Customer; Amount = -250; Apply to the Posted Sales invoice. b. Line 2 - Document Type = Payment; Account Type = Customer; Amount = -257; Apply to the Posted Sales invoice. c. Line 3 - Document Type = Payment; Account Type = Bank; Amount = 507.00 Post the Cash receipt Journal and the Customer Ledger Entry of the posted Sales Invoice will have Remaining Amount = 0.50. Payment Tolerance is not considered because in the current design, the Application occurs based on individual line Amounts and not on the Total Amount applied to the Invoice. Expectation is to consider the Total Amount applied to the Invoice for Max. payment Tolerance.
  • Analysis by Dimension should display the transactions with blank Dimension code Value

    The transactions with blank Dimension Code Value should be displayed under a column named 'Unspecified Dimension' in the Analysis By Dimension Matrix Overview page. Currently these transactions are skipped when Show as Column = Dimension Code. The Item Availability by Location displays the Inventory for Blank Location Code as 'Unspecified Location'.

    Analysis by Dimension Matrix Overview page shows 32 Dimensions as columns in a single set. To view the next Set, the User has to go back to the Analysis by Dimension page and click Next Set. The User should be able to view all the Dimension columns by scrolling to right.
  • Payment Application Report

    A Report which gives the List of Customer Payments applied to posted Sales Invoices for the Customer with the Applied Amount, Application Date will give an overview of the Customer Payments received and was applied to which Invoices. Currently the User has to go view the information entry wise.
