Dynamic row height in grids
Today in all grids the height of rows is defined by a property set in the form. In a lot of forms, especially if a field like description is available, there are field with more content > than on row. It is requested to have dynamic row height based on the contend to display. Similar to a plain HTML table. Due to this it is possible for the user to read the whole content without using tooltip or a second tab. Thank you Christoph -
Favorites with filter
In AX2012 it was possible to save favorites with filters to open a form. In D365FO this feature is not available any more. Would be perfect if this possibility will be available again. -
Combine saved views with advanced filter possibilities
Currently in preview but GA expected soon we miss the possibility to combine saved views with advanced filters. Details regarding saved views are available here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/get-started/saved-views The big advantage of this feature is to define different views and switch very fast between them. It a matter of one mouse click to choose a predefined view. In addition the advanced filters offers a possibility to add additional tables to the filter and use field of the joined table for filtering. Example: You can define a filter for all sales orders selling a given item within the sales orders list page. Both features are working very well but currently it is not possible to combine them together. So the idea is to add the defined advanced filter in the saved view logic as well. With this feather the users are much more flexible an faster then in the current situation. Thanks a lot for extending the experience. Christoph

Filter by selection and clear filter
A heavy used feature I and my clients miss a lot is the "filter by selection" option in the context menu of the grid we all know from AX2012 an before. It would be perfect if the new grid currently in preview will bring back this option. In addition a clear filter option would be nice too. It will save a lot of time to select, copy the information into the clipboard, open the header filter .... thanks a lot Christoph -
Add named place of delivery for incoterms in sales and procurement
During my life working with Ax2009, Ax2012 and now D365SCM I’m faced with one topic / missing feature in every single customer project. It is related with terms of delivery. As there is an international standard available = incoterms in 100% of my implementation projects terms of delivery = incoterms. The are used as all over the world. But there is one big missing feature where we have to extend the standard system all the time. As incoterms need additional information about the named place of delivery or named place of destination we have to add additional fields in the form of sales order header and purchase order header. We have to extend the dataproviders for the sales order confirmation, sales packing slip, purchase order report,... In total it is a lot of work we have to do. In addition it is hard to explain to the customer why a standard software (D365] used all over the world is not able to cover standardized incoterms functionality out of the box. So this request is to extend D365SCM to be able to handle destination information in sales and procurement. Thanks a lot Christoph -
Entity to import/export print management setup
Whenever the PROD database is exported to STAGE by default the print management setup is removed. This is a good think as there is a possibility to setup automatic email processing. During the database copy this should be deactivated. Unfortunately there is not entity available to import / export the print management setup for sales, purchase, project,.... to be able to import the setup out of excel files. This idea is to provide an entity to be able to do import and export of the setup to avoid additional manual workload. thanks a lot christoph
