  • Phone Call Activity - Phone number auto-populate

    Hi,

    I noticed that if you open an Account Record and select from the ribbon, Add --> Phone Call, a Phone Call activity is created with the Recipient and Phone Number filled in.

    If you are looking at an Account View (eg: Active Accounts), and you click on an Account, then from the ribbon select the same steps (Add --> Phone Call) the Recipient is filled in, but no Phone Number.

    If you open an Account Record, click on the Activities item in the left-nav, then click on the "Add New Activity --> Phone Call" item on the Activity ribbon tab, the Recipient is filled in, but no Phone Number.

    Is there a reason why this works for one and not the other? I know we can get around this using JavaScript, but this just seems like it was overlooked.
