  • Ability for Manager's to review expense reports already approved

Manager's need to have the ability to view their employee's expenses after approved to track spend against budget.  Should have the reporting ability to see department/operating unit as a whole, as well as drill down to specific expense lines for a given time period.

  • Export to CSV should include proper headers

Users frequently want to export data to Excel to analyze. Unfrotuantely, when they export many of the reports, they show as stacked, and require manipulation to be usable. Export to CSV is the only option, but the headers appear as "textbox_1, textbox_2". According to Microsoft, this is by design, and would require development or SSRS to include the actual real headers. I'm having a hard time explaining to business users why Microsoft would allow an export to CSV with inaccurate headers that requires manipulation, and would appreciate if the out-of-the-box capabilities were simply enhanced to export the actual header instead of a flat file.
  • Expense Management - Expense Report Amount Paid to Employee should be accurate

Currently when an expense report is entered for multiple payment methods, the totals for the amount paid to employee do not calculate properly. This is a bug and causing users to doubt the capabilities of Dynamics. Scenario 1 - Employee enters expense report for mileage and meals. Meals are put on the corporate card, and will be paid to the card company. Mileage needs to be reimbursed to the employee. When the employee enters the expense report, the amount of the meals is shown on "Amount paid to credit card". However, the "Amount paid to employee" is zero. Scenario 2 - Employee enters expense report for some corporate card expenses, and some self-paid expenses that need to be reimbursed. When the employee enters the expense report, the amount paid to the card company is shown on "Amount paid to credit card". However, the "Amount paid to employee" is zero.
  • Enable click through to Expense Report on Credit Card Transactions

On the out of the box report available via Expense Management > Period Tasks > Credit Card Transactions you can see credit card transactions for your employees and includes the Expense Report Number hyperlink. However, when clicking on the hyperlink the system provides an error that "Unable to View details, no form exists for table 'TrvExpTable'." Since this is the only report that shows the merchant, transaction amount, and expense report, it would be very helpful to enable the hyperlink to the Expense Report to dig into the details.
  • Deduction Workbench - Add writeoff/deny date

Currently the Deduction Workbench allows you to view information regarding the reason codes for the various write-offs and deduction denials. Our accountants would like to be able to see the layout with the date that the deduction was posted to the GL which would correspond with the modified date of the deduction and or the write-off denial date. Unfortunately you are not able to personalize the columns and add in this date, and the modified date option is the date the worker was modified which is not helpful.
