Schedule BC SaaS Maintenance During Slower Hours of The Day
Hi We are in BC SaaS. During the last 2 months our users are receiving message like "Sorry to bother you but .... Due to service maintenance you'll be automatically sign out ..." between 7 am -4 pm during working day. This cause distribution in our daily process and interrupt users daily tasks. Please schedule such a maintenance for slower time of the day. Or send us advance notice. Thanks -

Hi Sometimes company needs to populate a different name on check. Is it possible to add a new field in Payment Journal that named something Check Payable to and if this get populate the name on the check change? This will help many companies that they deal with one vendor but need different names on check. Thanks -
Create Production Order direct From Sales Order
Hi It helps if we can create production order direct from sales order. This is going to be faster alternative for the following method: Go to Production Order -> Select Sales Header -> Enter Sales Order# -> Refresh. This way customer service team can create Production Order direct from Sales Order without following the above steps. Thanks -

Business Central Availability Test and Alert for System Admin
Hi
I know Microsoft has Health Center that users can check the health of BC. Also, admin can use Application insight to see activities in BC. In addition admin can create basic "PING TEST with Azure Application Insights.".
But these are not enough monitoring / alert tools for admin. Through Application Insight Admin needs to monitor everything at any given time and Ping Test has it's own disadvantages (see here for example https://demiliani.com/2021/11/19/dynamics-365-business-central-and-availability-tests/#:~:text=What%E2%80%99s%20the%20problem,customer%E2%80%99s%20production%20environments%3A )
Can you please develop more advanced availability test / alert for admin ( something like this https://demiliani.com/2021/11/19/dynamics-365-business-central-and-availability-tests/#:~:text=This%20is%20the,or%20OData%20services.)
This way if any issues such as failure in login, failure in API, etc happens admin will receive email/text alert to deal with the issue.

Option to Post Journal After Wrokflow Approval
Hi
Can you please add a function to workflow or job queue that BC posts Journal after workflow approval? With current method users need to go back to journal to post a journal after approval. It helps if we can add post after approval to workflow approval to save time for our users.

Dynamic Subject for Email in Business Central

It would be great if you provide a method that users can setup dynamic email subject when they send an email from BC. Right now the subject is predefined by Microsoft and require development to change it.

Option to Reverse Physical Inventory Journal (item journal), Item Reclassification
Hi
Sometimes it is possible that we post Item Journal (physical Inventory) or Item Reclassification Journal. But we realize we used wrong date or wrong location.
Currently it is no way in BC that we can reverse this transaction. We just need to create 2 more journals to correct this mistake which is time consuming and sometimes cause more problems.
It would be great if we can reverse posted Item Journal or Item Reclassification (similar to Undo Shipment) in BC,

Mass Updating Quote/SO or PO after change in Address or Price
Hi
Today business world is very dynamics but looks like Business Central is not so much when it comes to updating Quote/SO or PO.
Price (sales and purchase) could change, customer or vendor can change their address, or company decides to use different carrier or postal services.
We can change all these by updating price, or updating Customer/Vendor card. But what should we do with already existing Quote/SO/PO in BC? BC still keeps the old information in them. In addition, it is no out of the box way to mass update those Quote/SO/PO based on new changes.
Can you please provide a method that we can update existing Quote/SO/PO based on certain changes. For example if we increase our sales price then we can update all or selected Quote/SO based on new price? If customer (sell-to or bill-to) address change we can update existing quote/so? Or if we decided to use carrier X instead of Y we can update all existing quote/so?

Add Location to General Posting Setup or Let Location play Role in Posting Setup

It can help if we can use Location in General Posting Setup. This way Posting account can change based on location. For example if Bus Posting Group A / Gen. Prod Posting Group B sells from Location 1 then posting happens in different G/L accounts than Location 2.
Many companies have different location but same Bus/Prod posting group (for report purposes, etc) but they want transactions happen in different account based on location. Currently this is not possible without customization.
