keep the latest scheduling direction on a production order from the planned production order
The possibility to keep scheduling direction on a planned order is not implemented yet thus when a new production order is created during firming it will default the direction to Backwards no matter which direction is actually used to schedule the originally planned order. This is related to issue 617218. -
Ability to mark the entire cluster as full.
The picker should be able to mark the entire cluster picking as full, Right now it only works on cluster position level. -

The picker should be able to scan the position instead of selecting from the list while marking the position as full. This should increase the picker productivity and eliminate incorrect selections. -
Cluster picking: Show summary screen of the expected put positions in cluster picking.
Display a summary screen of the expected put positions, this should help the picker to proactively mark the position as full before picking the entire quantity. Right now it's too late to say the position is full because the picker has no idea what are the put positions, so He/She will pick the entire suggested picked quality and then figure out that the suggested position is already full. Idea suggested: 1. Display a summary screen as per user request summary of the suggested put positions. 2. Add an option to mark the position as full earlier even before the pick, so the picker can proactively say that position is full and avoid picking the entire quantity at an early stage. -
[Cycle count] Add new form Cycle counting transactions
Idea: Add new form Cycle counting transactions that should display all the count work lines like the current form of Work line details. Business value: The user can review multiple counting work lines at the same time in different works, Like the ability to review all the related lines of a specific item and so on. -
[Cluster picking] Add Mobile device menu items of " Display open Work clusters"
Add Mobile device menu items of " Display open Work clusters" like the existing "Display open work list" so the user can click on the cluster ID card and navigate directly to the cluster picking process. Business process: Usually, the supervisor is building the cluster manually and then assigns the clusters to the warehouse picker. The D365 SCM should help the users either by introducing a report of "Work clusters" like the current work report so the supervisor can print it and give it to the picker and also add a new menu item to display the open cluster works so the picker can review the open clusters and pick one of them manually. -
Add the concept of "Assign to" work
The idea is to add the concept of Assign to the work, right now warehouse supervisors are using the "locked by " and "change user" function as a temporary workaround to assign the works to specific WH users. part of the solution also is to add a notification concept to the warehouse management APP to notify the users when work has been assigned. See Issue 287131 -
Support product confirmation of multiple items
Business case: According to the current design, The Product confirmation gets enabled when there is only one item on the work line that is being processed. There are cases during both pickings or putting when you need to process multiple items at once. For example, during Sales order loading from the Stage area, users might need to pick multiple items for check purposes to ensure that the pickers picked the correct items or didn't place the picked product in an incorrect pallet. in that case, the RF displays “Item: Multiple”. In this scenario, it is not possible to do product confirmation (eg. to confirm each of the items one by one). User will be able to setup the work confirmation, even if you work with multiple item pick, but it will not be effective. Idea request: Allow and support Support product confirmation of multiple items. -
Support address change for multiple order lines that already on the same shipment
Issue:
- While updating the Delivery address of a sales order that has multiple lines linked to the same shipment the following message is thrown "More than one order line is part of the same shipment or load, shipment address cannot be updated."
Business scenario:
- The manifest to the carrier is failing since the address format is too long. Or the customer is requesting to ship it to another address. In this scenario, the user will navigate to the sales order and he/she will update the sales order address.
Idea:
- I understand the circumstances around the fact that the shipment might be consolidated and have multiple sales orders and this will require further validation, but this is a request at least to Support address change of sales order/ sales order lines in a single shipment. (Relation between shipment and order lines are 1:n) (One shipment has only the lines of single sales order)

Allow Reopen container linked to closed work with type "Packed container picking"
Scenario:
- The user would like to reopen a container that is linked to work with type Packed container picking.
Error/Issue:
- While reopening a container the following error is thrown "The container has related work with work ID X, which is either in process or closed" "The reopening of the container Y Failed"
Current design:
- In case of the container is linked to Container packing policies has Container release policy is Create work to move container from packing station hence it will create a work with type Packed container picking to move the items from the pack station to the baydoor and if this work is closed it will not be possible anymore to re-open the container.
Request:
- Allow Reopen container linked to closed work with type "Packed container picking" like the containers that are not linked to "Packed container picking" where the system re-opens the container and move the items back to the pack station.
