Sync party number and account numbers
AS IS: When creating a customer/vendor with a new number sequence is generated. The party number and account number (in different legal entitites) never match. Example for 'Company A' PARTY0001 - Company A (party) ENT1CUST0001 -Company A (customer role in entity 1) ENT2CUST0001 - Company A (customer role in entity 1) ENT1VEND0001 - Company A (vendor role in entity 1) Since this is all the same account (company A) it would be more logical that they all can have the same number. A lot of times the user will remember the account number and will try to look for it and expect to have the same number for all accounts (but don't want to enter it manually when creating the accounts) TO BE: When creating accounts the account number an party number have to be kept in sync Example for 'Company A' ACCOUNT0001 - Company A (party) ACCOUNT0001 -Company A (customer role in entity 1) ACCOUNT0001 - Company A (customer role in entity 1) ACCOUNT0001 - Company A (vendor role in entity 1) We have had this question on almost every customer project so would be very nice standard functionality to have. Vendor/customer role are unique so seems possible to do with those roles. For contacts (1toN) this is not possible and not needed. -

Show product translations according to user or legal entity language
Business case: I am working with 2 legal entities. LE 1 has entity language set to italian LE 2 has entity language set to english System language is english I have a released product with an EN and IT translation When i go to the released products list page or add items in a sales order I will always get to see the products with EN name and description Desired situation (2 possibilities): 1 When going to IT company, show me products in italian, when going to EN company show me in EN 2 show me the product name and description according to the language set in my user preferences
Displaying product and category names in accordance with user or legal entity in mulitinational environment is a must for implementation for client operating worldwide. Our client operate in few countries with different languages. It's a problem to prepare consistent processes for purch and sales as the list of categories and products display only in one system language. Users from different countries cannot properly carry out sales and purch processes as they cannot read product and category names, which are crucial for document lines. Coherent files is obligatory in a large organization like my client's one.

Link multiple personalizations to a security role and auto and inherit on linked users
Business case: I personalize several forms for a specific user role (by adding, deleting and moving fields to improve process flow). I can later push these personalizations tot all users in this user role but this is very cumbersome because: - I have to select each personalization form by form - If a user is added to the security role later on he will not have these personalizations and I will have to start over again Possible solutions: - allow multiselect when adding personalizations. This way I could create or maintain 1 specific user and push all their personalizations to all other users for that security role - Allow to link personalizations directly to a user role. This way when a user is added to that role he will inherit these personalizations (which can be added to existing if user already has personalizations)
