Create sales quote in real-time with async as fall back at POS
When creating a sales quote at the point of sale, the sales quote should sync with F&O in real-time, should the POS be online. If the POS is offline there should be the fallback of the order being created in async.
There is currently this feature for customer orders, where a sales order is created in real-time, with async as a fallback, when offline. This feature is governed by a parameter on the functionality profile but only relates to customer orders.

Ability to edit customer panel for compact screen layout
The ability to edit the customer panel for compact screen layouts should be available. This will allow for additional customer information, such as the customer credit limit, to be able to be seen when using a compact mobile device (such as when using Store Commerce for Android). This functionality is available when editing the normal screen layout.

Ability to limit the recall of customer orders to a specific store
There should be the ability to limit the recalling and editing of customer orders to a specific store. There is a risk that a POS user can recall an incorrect order from a different store and edit that order. Some businesses would like transactions in POS to be specific to one store and not available to view or edit across stores.

Link AR Methods of Payment to Commerce Payment Methods
There should be a link between the method of payment defined in the accounts receivable module vs the payment methods defined in the commerce module. This would allow for automatic banking fees to be posted for specific payment methods at POS.
Currently, when paying a "deposit" for a customer order, a customer payment journal is posted but the method of payment field on that form is blank.
An example where this will be able to be used will be if a specific payment method charges a bank fees to the business on each transaction. With a link to the AR method of payment, this should populated on the customer payment journal. During the posting process the fees for the payment can automatically be posted in the correct account so that the business does not have to do manual journals and reconciliations on each of the transactions.

Hide Voided Product Lines
When voiding product lines when using a compact view on a mobile device, the items with the strikethrough can obscure the view for the POS user. There could be a toggle to hide the voided product lines vs showing them, or the ability to sort voided product lines to the bottom of the transaction screen.

Ability to Modify Additional Information for Compact Screen Layouts
The ability to be able to edit the "additional information" section of the screen layout is required, especially for compact devices. When using a mobile device for point of sale, the width of the information that can be captured is limited, Item / Quantity / Price, etc. There are instances where clients require the ability to see more information regarding the product line in the cart. This would be able to be managed by adding additional information to the lines. The setup exists on the screen layout where the information can be selected, however, it does not update the information that reflects at POS. It tends to only display the item barcode and a dimension, such as colour.
