  • Add new quality order reports

    I see a big requirement for some more Quality Management reports. We've deployed the Lithuanian report "Inventory Scrap Statement" once which at least displays a list of scrapped inventory within a period, but it's still fairly limited and doesn't apply unless using Quarantine Mgmt.

    It would be awesome to have a couple OOTB quality reports that aren't just about non conformance. Possible things to include in the report(s): 

    • all quality orders and their statuses 
    • an option to filter on passed or failed status
    • item number tied to the quality order
    • date it was created and date it was closed
    • user who closed the order
    • filter by specific item(s) to see how many passed/failed

    I also have a couple ideas for Quarantine Mgmt:

    • A similar OOTB report for quarantine orders that show closed and open orders, statuses, and dates, etc
    • Adding a field for reason codes that are specific to quality/quarantine. For example, different reasons an item can be scrapped (broken, too brittle, wrong size, operator error). Then when scrapping an item through quaranatine, a reason code has to be selected.
    • Adding onto the last point: creating a report to view all scrapped items and the most common reasons they were scrapped (e.g. 25% of the scrap from item 1000 came from waterjet cut error) 
  • Rework discrete production orders

    I know it's possible to rework a batch order. Is it possible to also add this rework functionality to discrete production orders? I've seen many scenarios where a discrete item has to be reworked (example: re-sanded after sitting for too many days). Right now this is handled by just creating a new production order for the finished item, changing the production BOM to 0 for all components, and really just recording the labor/machine costs in a route card. When the order is ended, there's variances (Standard costing) since we finished with 'no material'. Also, we still have to scrap the finished piece from the original order and report as finish the 'rework' production order. A simple rework functionality for production orders would be a lifesaver. 

  • Inventory Transactions Report

    Please provide a report or inquiry that shows all inventory transactions for all items (similar to the one in 2009). Also it would be helpful if there could be a date parameter so you can view all transactions within a certain period (e.g. 90 days or 9/1/17-12/1/17). It's inefficient having to go through the item record to view its transactions, especially when you need to compare transactions of multiple items

  • Ability to add Product Name/Description field to Planned Order list page

    When you personalize the Planned Orders list page, there's no option to add Description or Product Name so you can only work with the Item Number. When you use a number sequence, the item numbers are meaningless so it's much harder to work with this page. It would be great to have the ability to add Product specific fields like Name, Description, Search Name etc

  • Ability to add Tracking Dimension Group to Released Products list page

    Can you add the Tracking Dimension Group to the list of personalized fields to add to the Released Products list page? You can add Product Dimension Group but not Storage Dimension or Tracking Dimension. It would be great to add Tracking Dimension Group so a user could easily see what items are batch/serial controlled.

  • Add an Approved Customer Check method

    Right now you can add approved vendors to an item and restrict purchases from an unapproved vendor. It would be great to expand that ability to customers too. So a user can add approved customers to the item record and choose an "Approved Customer Check Method" of No Check, Warning, or Not Allowed. If they select Not Allowed, they cannot sell an item to an unapproved customer.
