Restrict duplicate e-mails when using Campaigns
If you have an account and a contact registered with the same e-mailadress and you create a campaign & marketing list which results in both being a part of the campaign.
Then create a campaign activity of type = e-mail
When "Distribute Campaign Activity" CRM will then send the same e-mail twice to the same address.
CRM should have the same in-built function as Exchange Server ; if an address is typed twice Outlook still only sends one e-mail to that particular address. -
Informative message when duplicate is detected
When a duplicate is detected there is no message given to the user what field is triggering the duplicate detection rule.
There should be a message saying i.e.
"An account with the same value in is already registered"
Today you get a message saying there IS a duplicate, but you don't know why.
