Dimensions - Select from List
Current dimension setup allows for Code Mandatory, Same Code and No Code alongside no validation or "choose anything". Dimension combinations allow this to be further controlled. If you have a long list of values on a particular dimension, but only some of those values are valid for a particular (for example) G/L Account, then the ability to define a "Filter list" to only allow certain dimension values to be used would be useful. For example you may have a cost centre list of Sales, Marketing, HR, Warehouse and a G/L Account of "Customer Events" - in this scenario only Sales or Marketing would be a valid choice. Only current solution would be to define another dimension as "G/L Account" and then use dimension combinations but this is inefficient. Solution would be to allow "List" to be an option for dimension validation against the G/L Account (or other master data item). -
Item Unit Group sync with D365 Sales needs to allow shared Unit Groups
2021 Release Wave 2 implemented - "Use multiple units of measure when synchronizing items and resources to Dynamics 365 Sales" function. However this function is only useable if unique 1 to 1 relationship exists between Item unit Groups in BC and Unit Groups in D365. D365 for Sales standard functionality sees Unit Groups shared amongst products that are alike. If Business Central is being implemented and you attempt to sync BC Item Unit Groups to D365 you are unsuccessful because you attempt to create a Many (BC) to 1 (D365) relationship.

Support use of Write in Products for sync of D365 for Sales Orders to BC
Sales & Receivables setup in Business Central has support for Write in Product sync from D365 for Sales yet the functionality is incomplete. Write In products in D365 do not allow Unit of Measure yet Business Central Item definition MUST have a unit of measure. This mismatch in setup requirements negates the ability to use this functionality.

Global personalization of pages
It should be possible to personalize pages on a global level. For example pages like Sales Order subform needs to be altered to suit business process on most occasions and it doesn't matter which Role Profile a user is then attached to, that Sales Order subform should show (at least initially) based on the defined default. This is only achievable by modifying the form in an extension currently.

Ability to Reject Sales Order Syncronised from Dynamics 365 Sales
To send a Sales Order from D365 to BC you submit it in D365 which locks the record as Non-Editable. In BC however the Order may need to be rejected either because of data error or human error. Whilst a delete function is visible on the Business Central D365 Sales Order page it performs no function. It should be possible to delete the record at this stage which should revert the D365 status back to Open to allow data correction then re-submission. As it stands just now there is no way to correct an Order that has a data error meaning it remains in limbo between D365 and BC

Allow Uncouple/Delete from Sales Orders - Dynamics 365 Sales
Business Central linked to Dynamics 365. When you submit an order in D365 it becomes locked for editing and appears in Sales Orders - Dynamics 365 Sales for acceptance into Business Central. If the order is invalid (human error or data error) there should be an option to reject the submitted order and return it to an editable status in Dynamics 365. Current page includes Delete options but these have no impact on the status of the order.
Only current method to return the order to editable status in D365 is to confirm creation of the order in Business Central and then Delete the newly created BC order. If however human error has caused invalid/incorrect data then you may be unable to create in Business Central thus the order is stuck in limbo - it shows on Sales Orders - Dynamics 365 Sales with no viable option to remove/correct/re-submit.
Delete button on this page should replicate the functionality executed when a linked/coupled order is deleted within Business Central Sales Orders

Test Email in Sandbox Environment
It would be good if a Sandbox Environment could somehow be flagged so that Email integration can be set up but any emails generated are delivered to a single test mailbox. During client user testing we have to avoid enabling email integration for fear of sending unwanted emails to real customers & vendors.

Ability to multi Select on Sales Order Item Tracking Lines
Within Sales Orders if you need to select Item Tracking information you are forced to enter details one selection at a time. Whilst you can hold Ctrl and Multi Select from the available Item Tracking Entries, OK returns only 1 entry back to the Item Tracking lines page. This is very tedious if a sales order is, for example, for 100 serially tracked items.
Allow Select More & Multi Select to return a number of available serial numbers to the Item Tracking Lines page
-
Sales Order Item Tracking - allow Get From Document
Where serially tracked items are in use it would be good if you had the option to "Get Serial numbers from Document". This would be especially useful where a Special Purchase Order had been raised to purchase the items required for the Sales Order - when readying the Sales Order for shipment you may want to "get" all the serial numbers from the associated Purchase Order. Would equally be useful if the items required for a Sales Order had been created via Assembly or Production orders or even in the scenario where the Sales Order had been reserved against a future Purchase Order
Direct Delivery PO/SO automatically copies received Tracking Lines from PO to SO but Special Orders do not so a more flexible "Copy Serial Numbers" type function would make the processing of large serially tracked sales orders much more efficient

Turn any Filtered List into a Cue Card
Currently Cue Cards can only be created by Developers. Would be good if there were an option to allow any filtered list to be linked to a Cue Card. Filter the list, select "Convert to Cue Card" and system would request either to COUNT or SUM. Realise the potential performance implications of this so perhaps these cue cards would be updated via Job Queue Entry so not real time.
For display purposes these may have to be on a dedicated list page using the Tile Layout which would look very similar to Cue Card activity panes. Addition of Group & Sequencing options on the list entries would improve visual flexibility. User ability to Hide/Show would also allow user level control.
