  • Error on page when adding contact to marketing list

When adding a subgrid to the contact form that shows marketing list related to the contact the user gets an error on page when clicking on Add existing marketing list in the ribbon.
The same occurs if you try the same on account

  • Should be possible to import members to marketing lists

If a user has a list of Companies (that may already be in CRM) from an external source it should be possible to import these Companies as members to an existing marketing list. Same goes for contact and lead members on marketing lists.

I saw another similar feedback item in this forum which was rejected by the product team because MS is focusing on Dynamics Marketing. That is a really weak arguement. First of all tons of CRM customers will NOT be implementing Dynamics Marketing due to it's high price and/or complex functionality. Secondly the Marketing List functionality is at the core of the CRM product. It is used in many scenarios that is not necessarily "marketing" related. So to stop focusing on this feature because of Dynamics Marketing is not acceptable to most customers and partners.

  • Configurable view on the social Pane/Activity wall

It would be really nice if it was possible to configure which fields are shown in the social pane / activity wall. The fields should be configurable pr. activity entity.

A design suggestion could be to just add a system view type "Social pane" in the existing view custimization area. This way you could levarage the existing configuration feature and the configurator could also decide the sorting colums pr. entity instead of the new feature introduced in v.8.2 where it is now possible to configure the sorting of the social pane but only on a global level for all activity types.

  • Fix bad user experience in Activity associated view

If the user clicks on the "open Associated view" on the Activity wall the view is filtered in a very different way which often returns zero activites. That is because the assiciated view has the "Filter on" option set to "Next 30 days or earlier". So the user has to switch that option to "All" to see all activities. But even that does not fix the problem because the user also has to change the view to a view that shows all activities because the Associated view by default only shows open activites.

The whole user experience around this feature is a total mess and has been so for years. It's very hard to understand why the product team is not focusing just a small amount of time on fixing issues in basic features that are frustating thousands of users contantly. It can't take more than 5 minutes to fix this in the code.

    Please MS!!!

  • Add images to signature

It does not seem to be possible to add a picture of the company logo or similar to the e-mail signature. I guess that would be something that 95% of the users would expect?

  • Queue list view should automatically refresh

Customer Service Agents that use the queue for email correspondence between customer service and the customers quickly get frustrated that they have to manually click refresh to check if there are new emails in the queue. The Queue list view should be able to automatically refresh. Either with a fixed interval or even better when a new item is added or removed to/from the queue.
  • Increase or remove limitation of 10 active Business Process Flows per entity

Currently it is only possible to have 10 active BPF's per entity. So if you are implementing are slightly advanced Customer Service solution that have more then 10 different types of cases (with different case handling flows) you quickly run into problems. I really don't see any reason why MS could not increase or completely remove this limitation.
  • Ability to automatically select Business Process Flow on case and other entities

In a scenario where the type of case determines which BPF the service agent should use it would be really nice if it was possible to configure a real time workflow that runs on create or update of case type an automatically sets the correct BPF. Currently the user will have to set it manually. MS would add an action that allows the admin to set the BPF. The same scenario of automatically setting the BPF based on conditions in data also applies to for example opportunities where based on the type of opportunity the admin might want to aid the sales rep in setting the correct BPF automatically. The sales reps will surely forget to do it manually in most cases.
