We have posting layer in General ledger module. 

We have custom posting layer 1 to 7 .However we do not have a provision to name the layers from the screen itself.

We had a provision to rename posting layers in Project module ->Project parameters in AX 2012 , from the screen itself, where we can rename the posting layers which in turn updates the labels.

Similarly we should have an option to rename the labels for Custom Posting layer 1 to 7 from the UI itself without customization. This would be helpful for reporting

 

We can filter multiple records by providing a comma separated value as filter.However this is not always easy to filter data when there are large set of values to filtered.

For example if user wants to filter say 50 voucher transactions ,it is not easy to filter the transactions by providing a comma separated value of 50 vouchers.So there should be a provision where user can copy the data from a tabular format say excel or even from AX grid to clipboard and paste the data to filter in a tabular format and filter the records

This would be easy for the end user to filter records based on multiple criteria in a tabular format instead of comma separated value

It should be possible to delete dimensions that are not used. Right now system does not allow to delete dimension even though no transactions have been posted using the dimension. Right now the work around suggested y microsoft support is to rename the dimension name as "no use" . But a permanent solution to delete the dimensions if they are not used in any postings in the system should be possible.
