Enable Training mode in CPOS and MPOS
This functionality was available in older versions of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Retail (more precisely on AX2009 and AX2012 EPOS). On the Retail Industry, there are companies with high rotation, or with the need to train really quick new cashier due to a high sales season. Training mode would allow this new recruits to get a handle on the different operations that are required to master the POS, in order to make the end customer experience more pleasant, and faster.

Enable Keyboard mapping for MPOS and CPOS
On previous versions of EPOS, keyboard mapping was available to setup keys to trigger functionality. In Brick and Mortar Stores, speed on processing the customer checkout is of high importance, and the keyboard functionality gives the cashier the option to cash out a customer faster, thus increasing revenue. Please add support for KeyboardMapping on MPOS and CPOS, specially for Function keys (F1). -
Missing Data Entity for table CustVendTransportCalendarSetup
Publish Data Entity for table CustVendTransportCalendarSetup The table is needed as working with DOM, we need to set up and test scenarios on a TEST environment, so then they can be Migrated to Production Environment. If a configuration is made on a Golden Environment, there would not be a way to create a Template or a Data package with this entity. It is worth to notice that the configuration needs to be passed to a production environment that is currently running Production, Supply Chain elements, Financials, and that we are now deploying Retail + DOM Because of this, it should be an Entity provided by Microsoft, to allow migration of configuration between environments (or even between Legal entities) -
Print button for Gift Card Receipts - promoted on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/October18/dynamics365-retail/pos-journal-improvements#gift-card-balance-inquiry-receipt
On the release notes for commerce for 2018 it mentions the existance of a button to print the gift card receipt. this button does not exists and with the settings the way to print it is by hitting the top X on the popup window in MPOS and CPOS that is dangerously close to the X-closing button for the application. The issue is the documentation that can be found online that indicates that the button exists. there are also two issues. 1 –to get the print receipt to print with the settings, we need to click on the top X of the Gift Card Balance Window, which is too Close to the X that would close the POS. 2 - the Close button underneath does not trigger the print option as does the X on top. 3 – the documentation since 2018 is promoting the button to exists as it shows on the attached screen image. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/October18/dynamics365-retail/pos-journal-improvements#gift-card-balance-inquiry-receipt -
Disable email hyperlinks in CPOS device.
when working with a CPOS devices and going through the Customer information window, the emails for the customer show up as Hyperlinks that trigger a hyperlink jump to a mailto operation. The issue to avoid is that a store user, working on a handheld device would highly likely tap on the email address, making the device jump out of the CPOS and into a mailto: navigation, breaking the sales process. From our user the steps that occurred were 1.) Logged on to perform Non-Drawer operation (Customer Lookup) 2.) Searched and selected customer profile. 3.) Touched e-mail address (accidentally). 4.) Error Message displayed and application environment closed. 5.) Restarted session. NOTE - Important because hyperlinks should not trigger environment to close. (Touch was accidental and meant to scroll instead of launch API.) The idea is to create a Parameter per Register that would disable hyperlinks on the device, by rendering them as strings.
