  • Product Properties need to be able to be reported on through the UI

Properties feature is a nice feature for capturing additional info like the Color needed etc, However, the values entered when you are adding them to an Opportunity (Quote etc) appear to not able to be reported on through the UI. The only way to get them out appears to be through SSRS or Power BI.

The fields that hold the values entered on the Property Instance entity are marked Search = No (and can't be changed to Yes) so they do not show up in Advanced Find or the Report Wizard. For example through the Report Wizard at the moment you can produce a list of the properties for each Opportunity Product, but not the value that the user has entered against the property.

And, I appear to not be able to use Advanced Find to show all the Opportunity Products where for example the property 'Color' = Red. So if I've run out of Red I have to get an SSRS report written so I can find out which customers I need to call to tell them there will be a delay.

  • Entitlements do not repect minutes

In CRM Online 2016 Upd 1, Entitlement is setup to use number of Hours.

When Resolving a Case if the user enters the billable time in Minutes the remaining entitlement hours value does not decrease. However, it does decrease if the user selects an Hours value from the dropdown rather than a Minutes one.

  • Enhance Entitlements to allow 1 entitlement to be shared by multiple Accounts

Enhance Entitlements to allow 1 entitlement to be shared by multiple Accounts.

This would allow for scenarios where a Head Office has subsidiary Offices, but any of the associated offices can draw down from the allocations for 1 Entitlement (that was established by the Head Office).

  • CRM SharePoint Integration based on Entity with multiple relationships

Dynamics CRM Online integrated with standard SharePoint Integration where based on entity has been selected. Currently where there are 2 or more 1:N relationships between the main entity and the related entity, the integration with SharePoint reverts to the Library setup for the child records (this is understandable as CRM does not know which lookup record should hold the sub-folder). Would be nice in such cases if we could specify which one (1) of the relationships to be used as the sub-folder, rather than being forced to a structure that breaks the based on entity structure.

  • BUG: Fix error messages

We are seeing Microsoft error messages that are no longer meaningful. Believe this is something to do with Microsoft deciding to no longer expose the Inner error. Note, in the following no entry is made in the Trace Log (so there is no way to see what permission the user is actually missing. This is just one example... This one is when a user attempts to Resolve a Case, but does not have sufficient privileges to Entitlements, error message that is displayed is: Insufficient Permissions You do not have (0) permission to access (1) records. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator for help.
  • Fix Lookup with Related Records Filtering and show recents bug

Where there are Lookups using Related Records Filtering, if the show recent records option is also ticked, then the recent records show and allow the user to select recent records that have been deleted - When this occurs and the user saves the record a error message is displayed but it contains no information to indicate why the error is occurring or in what attribute on the form (i.e. it should say something like you selected a deleted record in lookup xyz ). Similarly, with the same Related Records settings, the user can select recent records that are not part of the related records filter.
