We need to reserve an available license access for BC On Premise (and NAV) in order to interface it with third-party application (e.g. B2B solution or web site). In the same manner, we need to reserve an available access for Task Scheduler. It would be great to have a type per license. This type of license could be assign to a "user" (table User). In that case, the counting license need to ignore the licence type <> User. Goal : securing the information system for scheduling task and web service/odata

Hi. If an accountant is not setup in the user setup table, the allowed posting dates are taken from the General Ledger Setup (ok). If a starting date for an accountant is setup in the user setup table (field 2 table 91) but no ending date is setup (field 3 table 91) no check for the "Allow Posting To" is made. The major risk is to let a user post an entry greater than the "Allow Posting To" setup in the General Ledger Setup (field 3 table 98). The codeunit 11 - function "DateNotAllowed" need to be modified. thank you

NAV is designed for storing billions of record however some reports have trouble when we try to export data to Excel. Eg : Report 10804 using G/L Entries After a lot of minutes, the Excel file seems to be generated but Excel cannot open the file. Please add a warning to the user if the file exceeds the limit of Excel. Thank you

In France (e.g.) one vendor may invoice different things without item. For general expenses, the GL account depends on the type of service. So it's not good to have only one "GL account no" per vendor. A lot of companies which try to use the OCR feature in BC, need the ability to manage that. Example : if the vendor invoiced a service, the GL account will be different than another type of invoice (e.g a shipment fee). In the two cases, the vendor sent one invoice with the same appearance with no lines. A title (text) on the invoice can help the accountant to identify the general expense type and the GL account no. he needs to use. thank you

Since the last century :) we can set permission for objects in 3 different ways for CRUD. - blank = no - yes = yes - indirect = indirect If we want to forbid only one table, we need to create a new permission set with all tables except the one we want to exclude. The screen for identifying the table a user cannot access is too large. It would be very useful to have a new setup like "exclude" for C, R, U and D. The aim is to have for example the posibility to access to table #17 only via an indirect process without setup all tables. thanks !

A lot of softwares provide an access in read only mode. In BC, because a several tables are accessed for updating, it's difficult to setup a permission set and to maintain it. It will be very useful to have a new permission set for the accountant auditor, for example. thanks.

Hello Version BC14 or BC15 Saas and OnPremise Generate the tax audit file for French market (known as "Fichier des Ecritures Comptables" = Export G/L Entries) is very long. For only one month, we need 25 minutes for 17,000 GL Entries (2700 G/L Register entries). If we do the same request 1 minute later, we have the file in 15 seconds (because of the SQL cache). We cannot delegates this export to Job Queue because the XMLPort generates a file for the user. We need to have the capability to delegate this export to Job Queue. Idea : Job queue could store the file in sharepoint on line ! Please add a url setup in BC :) Thank you
