  • Change error on packing station if item variant is not on shipment

If attempting to pack item variants that are not on the Shipment via Packing station, the user is shown the error 'You cannot over pack'. The error message is unclear and should rather state something like 'Selected item variant is not on the Shipment and it cannot be packed'. Ideally, the user should not be able to manually select variant combinations that are not on the Shipment in the first place.
  • Populate Load ETA based on the Load lines

Currently, the ETA of a Load is based on the first added Load line. It can only be changed manually. However, this is not accurate in most cases, as e.g. collecting items from different Vendors on different days means the ETA changes.
  • Work exception short pick should Adjust quantity of Batch Below items if only single batch is on location

Currently, when performing a short pick, only the dimensions above location are taken into account when adjusting of inventory is required. This means that when there is a Batch Below item on a location, and short pick is used, this inventory does not get adjusted (batch is not added on the journal), often leaving the warehouse unsure of the real situation as there is no information that this has not been performed. The mobile device flow continues without any information message. This logic should be changed so that Batch Below items are also adjusted if there is only a single batch of an item in the location. If there are multiple batches, other resolution is required.
  • Print line should not have Inventory quantity related to it

Each Print work line has Work quantity and Inventory work quantity related to it. This is used throughout the work processing. However, having inventory work quantity associated to that line, it also means weight is associated to it. In examples, where total work header weight is required (e.g. to calculate pallet weight), the result is not correct. Example: Item has a Gross weight = 1.10 W= Weight Q= Quantity Pick line = (12 boxes of 10) 120 Q * 1.10 W = 132W - total item quantity weight Total work header weight = 145.2W Difference is 13.2 W, which is 12 Q * 1.10 W – inventory quantity 12 is from the printline.
  • Show count of available Work behind the MDMI

Many workers are processing picks and replenishment at the same time, often also within different areas of the warehouse (e.g. frozen and non-frozen). Usually, these work types are processed by different mobile device menu items. Currently, the Worker has no easy overview of how many open work headers are available for each of the menu items he can use. It would be beneficial if a count of available work headers for each MDMI is shown in the menu, so the users can easily decide what to process next (e.g. prioritise frozen replenishment before dry picking) and therefore remove warehouse bottlenecks.
  • Mobile device notes for Transfer Issue and Transfer Receipt

Mobile device notes currently working for the Sales orders should work also for the Transfer orders (Issue and Receipt). Potentially, it would be also beneficial to have the instructions per SO line and TO line.
  • Show URL product (variant) images on the Packing station

Business using pack station often like to show the product images to their packers. However, these can currently only be taken from directly from the DB. In e-commerce, where a business might sell over 100,000 products, storing those in the DB is not realistic. In these cases, the companies opt for storing the images on a media server. These images are shown correctly in the full client, they are shown in the mobile device from .19 onwards, but they are not shown on the Packing station. This should be fixed and aligned.
  • Ability to change font only of the information section of the MD

It would be beneficial in the new app to only enlarge the font of the info section, where all the details of the step are. I know there is a general font sizing option in the settings, but that changes the whole app. This is so the information can be better presented to the users.
  • Ability to change the color of desired fields in the MD

It would be highly beneficial to be able to change the color of the text on the application. This would enable certain information to be better presented to the user. A good use case is for locations. Some warehouses color code the side of the aisles, which can then be replicated in the mobile device (e.g. left side is yellow, right side is green, which would correspond in the mobile app as well). There's examples where similar thing improves efficiency by 10-15% of the people on the shop floor.
  • Ability to skip the Check values and confirm screens on the MD

The Check values and confirm MD screens introduce an unnecessary check and delay in the processing. Every work now requires several unnecessary picks, and as we all know, clicks and seconds matter for the Warehouse productivity.

I would argue this is completely unnecessary, as we already have the functionality to ask for Location, Quantity, LP, Product confirmation; but would understand this to have a possibility to be parametrized as well.
