Return and Home delivery/ pickup in the same POS order
The customer is visiting the store to return a product and buy a product that should be delivered to their home.
Current POS do not allow that as the return line requires a mode of delivery.
We need to first return the item and take a credit memo. Create a new sales order for the new purchase and use that credit memo. As this is a normal scenario, POS should support return and home delivery/pickup in the same order.

Capturing manager override ID in POS transactions
D365 FO has a provision to define what operations can be performed by cashiers in POS and what operation requires manager privileges.
If an operation (like a manual discount) requires manager privilege, the system pops up a login window for the manager to log in (approve) so that the cashier can perform that operation.
The manager details who approved the operation are not captured in the POS transaction. This is required for audit purposes.
