Extend enhanced add products experience to quote entity
With 2020 Release Wave 1 the new "Extended add product experience" has been added, which allows to add multiple existing or write in products at one to an opportunity and which comes with filtering capabilities based on views or product families. Details see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/add-products-enhanced-experience Since this is a preview feature, it was only implemented on the opportunity entity for the beginning. It would be great, if it would be added to further entities in the sales process as well, like the quote entity, invoice or order. -
Auto save changes in nested grid without collapsing the product bundle after each change
A customer of us is heavily using product bundles. They act as a template, to configure the services, that shall be delivered to their customers. The bundles contain multiple optional products and the users change the quantity and prieces of the optional products according their needs. To provide a smooth experience to the CRM users, we activated the editable grid control with nested grid on the opportunity products and quote products and set prices to overriden by default. This means in an ideal world, they would only have to go over the list and change the quantities and prieces of the products within the bundles according their needs. But unfortunately after each change, the grid or the whole record refresehes (due to auto save functionality in the nested grid) and the bundle is collapsed again. Some of their bundles have up to 15 different products, which means the have to expand the same bundle again and again for up to 15 times. We opened a case for that, but got the information that this is "by design", but that there are more customers like us that have already claimed that issue. So we've been asked to open an idea, to hopefully get a solution for that. -
Allow to limit results in "Filter By" for lookup and customer fields on views
Often you have different flavours of an entity, lets take account as an example, where you could have "business accounts" and "private customers". If you now want to filter a lookup field, e.g. on an opportunity, to only return "private customers" you can apply a view to this lookup field on a form. But if you now create a system view including this field and a user wants to filter this view by a certain customer, the filter is no longer applied (like on the form), but all accounts are returned. Please add the functionality to apply a view to limit results returned on a filter in views. thx a lot Thomas -
Allow to define attributes to be exported
Some months ago it was possible to define which attributes of the customer profile can be exported using the SFTP export destination. But with a recent update this functionality disappeared. Please add it again and also add it for other connectors like Azure storage account. Because if you want to export Segments and some fields of the customer profile for a marketing agency, you probably do not want to provide them with all fields. So additional pipelines outside of Customer Insights would be required in this case. Thx Thomas -
Wrong time displayed in grid view for virtual tables
One year ago I created a support ticket, that for columns of type date/time with timezone adjustment configured to be time zone indipendent a wrong time is displayed in the grid view.
On forms the correct time is shown, while in the grid view the user offset of the personal settings is added to the time, which shouldn't happen if "timezone independent" is chosen.
After some analysis this has been identified as bug, but the ETA was unknown at that time.
Now more than a year passed and we created another ticket for this issue, to ask if an ETA is known. We've been told by support, that many other people has raised this bug as well, but it is not enough that this bug is being prioritized by the product group and that we should raise an idea for that.
