  • Gift/Credit Amount upon purchase of specific items

    We have a customer who has a promotion which was supported by their previous ecommerce partner platform but is not supported by MSFT Ecommerce. We need your support on this.


    Promotion Details:


    Buy X, Get $300 Credit/Gift Amount, which can then be utilized on a specific set of products. Those specific gift items to be presented to the customer in a Modal format both on Ecommerce and POS side. Currently this feature of Gift Amount/Credit Amount to be spent on specific items does not exist in Dynamics Commerce promotion engine. Customer wants this promotion to trigger based on an Omni Channel coupon for their Brick and Mortar and Ecommerce channel.


    Concerns: Customer does not want to go into the creation of a new discount type as that can have performance and business impacts (due to pricing engine customizations).

  • Tax Exemption Upon selection of Payment Method

    In the Lease-to-own industry, Retail and E-commerce customer transactions are usually Tax exempt because of State Stipulations. In my customer's case, they are planning to Incorporate Progressive Lease-to-own payment method on their website and there is no Out-of-Box way for a Transaction to be marked as Tax-exempt upon the selection of a Payment Method.


    This seems to be a Gap in the functionality. It would be great if this could be built into the product to cover the greater use case for the Lease-to-own industry.
